2010 Mission Trips

The following are our 2010 Mission trips that follow the Acts 1:8 strategy of reaching our world:

2009 Mission Trip Pictures

In order to go on any of the trips below you must fill out the North Metro Missions Application. All applications must be approved before you are able to go on any trip. The applications can be downloaded from this site. The application includes information on North Metro’s policies for raising your funds and it includes sample letters to use to request financial support. There are requirements that you must meet that are listed on the application. Before turning in your application we request that you have already been in prayer seeking God’s guidance and that you feel called to go and serve on one of the trips listed below. We do have a limited number of participants that we can take on the trip. We are excited about where God is leading us and what He will do through us!

If you are interested in going on one of our 2010 Mission Trips and you want information on how to raise funds please contact Tim Kinnersley in our church office. Please do not let finances keep you from going on a trip with us. If God wants you to go He will provide a way!

March 7 – 13, 2010
Meridia, Mexico – Men's Construction Trip
Trip Leader – James Chastain

Registration Deadline – January 31, 2010

We will need a group of 10-14 men to travel to Mexico to help in the construction of a seminary. We will pour concrete for columns and footings similar to what the team was able to do last year.

Cost of this trip: $600 per person

April 4 – 9, 2010
New York City – Family Mission Trip
Trip leader – Tim Kinnersley

Registration Deadline – February 28, 2010

Whether you family consists of 4 or more or just 1 you are invited to come on this Spring Break trip to New York. We will partner with The Journey Church in the streets of New York city by doing prayer walks, giving out water, granola bars along with tracts and information about their church.

Cost of this trip: $450 per person

June 2 – 6, 2010
Yucatan, Mexico – Medical Mission Trip
Trip leader – Tim Kinnersley

Registration Deadline – April 11, 2010

We need a group to do medical clinics in this area to assist those in this area who cannot afford to see a doctor. Nurses will be used to do assessments and record vital signs. Our doctor will prescribe a treatment plan to those who need one. We will not only assist them with their physical needs but more importantly with their spiritual needs.

Cost of this trip: $600 per person

June 26 – July 2, 2010
Vancouver, Canada – College Trip
Trip leader – Juan Sali

Registration Deadline – May 2, 2010

We will be partnering with missionaries in the area along with a local church. They ahave a festival around Canada Day each year that those in the area along with local university come and they are able to minister and witness to those that come and invite them to the local church.

Cost of this trip: $1000 per person

July 16 – July 24, 2010
Moldova – Graduating High School Senior Trip
Trip leader – Tim Kinnersley

Registration Deadline – May 16, 2010

The purpose of this trip is to go and partner with leaders of Holy Trinity in Chisinau, Moldova to help lead a student camp in a nearby village. Students will have the opportunity to help teach and mentor the students there that week.

Cost of this trip: $1200 per person
