The senior adults of North Metro fill a vital and essential role among the church family as “Forerunners of Faith.”  While many senior adults have enjoyed many years of following Christ, some may have just begun their journey of Christian faith.  A “Forerunner of Faith” continually strives to grow in Christ so they may actively lead by example, not only their own generation, but those who follow in their footsteps.

Most importantly, a “Forerunner” leads others to the feet of Jesus in order to “make ready a people prepared for the Lord” (Luke 1:17), and they sincerely desire to echo the words of the psalmist, who said,

“Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.”  Psalm 71:18
